Der Verein Swiss-African-Center hat zum Ziel, in der Schweiz lebende AfrikanerInnen zu unterstützen und die Schweizer für Afrika zu sensibilisieren. Support zu Leisten für Afrika orientierte Menschen, Organisationen und Projekte. Mitglieder zu fördern durch Beratungen, Koordination und Publizität. Das Image der Schwarzafrikaner in der Schweiz zu verbessern. The associastion Swiss-African-Center wants to support Africans living in Switzerland and sensitize the Swiss for Africa. Currently we have about 17 projects in progress: "Swiss African Cooking" for commercial African cooking to be followed by "Service & Hostessing" has started with the co-operation of Restaurant Mama Africa in Zürich. Interested cooks please register now.
Also in Zürich: "S-A-C Consulting" still in the planning stage.
The project "Security-Group" together with PROTECTAS SA and Lukmoh Security is accepting applications now. A group for "Child Care" services needs to be built up. Interested persons please apply now. For the project "Translation-Services" we now found the back up from a professional Translation organization. Details are still in progress. Interested persons please apply now.
For the project "NetworkStations", providing computer work stations by reservation and a back up for the Translation-Service. The first pilot location is in Olten.
For the project "Swiss Media Relations", just the main speaker is still missing. This will take place at the "Swiss Public Relations Institute" SPRI in Zürich.
The project "Swiss African Community by SMS" is not developing well.Co-operation talks with ANS and African Mirror Foundation with a revision of the concept are in progress.
The S-A-C web site remains under constant development.The main platforms are the S-A-C Market Place, the Events Calendar and Web links.
The project 50'mille for a print product is still in the conceptual developing stage.
In the development phase is the project proposal "Swiss African Solidarity" to connect African Associations in Switzerland.
In planning stages are workshops for "African Businesses", "African Swiss Politics" and "Association Management".
